Resource One hosts African delegates from Kenyan credit unions as part of the ACCOSCA during their USA Exchange Program. .
DALLAS, TX (May 20, 2022)
On May 11, 2022, Resource One Credit Union opened its doors to delegates from the African Confederation of Co-operative Savings and Credit Associations (ACCOSCA) during their USA Exchange Program in Dallas, TX.
ACCOSCA is a Pan-African confederation of national associations of savings and credit cooperatives societies. ACCOSCA’s top priorities include developing programs to improve socio-economic needs in Africa using credit unions and other government institutions.
Resource One was grateful for the opportunity to host delegates from Kenyan credit unions for part of their stay. While utilizing R1’s training space, delegates received educational seminars over topics such as Board Governance, In-School Branches, and Resource One’s Community Engagement before traveling to Habitat for Humanity for the remainder of the day.
