How Citizenship Loans Work

Our Citizenship Loans allow members to use their ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) instead of a social security number to help cover the cost of individuals or multiple persons becoming future U.S. citizens. Similar to a personal loan, funds are given upfront and paid off during the term of the loan.

Uses

Use the citizenship loan for a variety of immigration expenses. For example:

  • Citizenship Application
  • Permanent Residence Application (green card)
  • Petition for Alien Relatives
  • Application for Employment Authorization
  • Asylum Process
  • Travel Expenses
  • Legal fees
  • Green card renewal
  • DACA expenses
  • and more!

Advantages

  • Have quick access to funds to cover the cost of applying for citizenship
  • Avoid predatory loans, like payday lenders or pawnshop loans, with rates as high as 300% APR
