How Citizenship Loans Work
Our Citizenship Loans allow members to use their ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) instead of a social security number to help cover the cost of individuals or multiple persons becoming future U.S. citizens. Similar to a personal loan, funds are given upfront and paid off during the term of the loan.
Uses
Use the citizenship loan for a variety of immigration expenses. For example:
- Citizenship Application
- Permanent Residence Application (green card)
- Petition for Alien Relatives
- Application for Employment Authorization
- Asylum Process
- Travel Expenses
- Legal fees
- Green card renewal
- DACA expenses
- and more!
Advantages
- Have quick access to funds to cover the cost of applying for citizenship
- Avoid predatory loans, like payday lenders or pawnshop loans, with rates as high as 300% APR
