Promotion Period: The Resource One Credit Union 90th Anniversary Website Scavenger Hunt (“Promotion”) begins July 28, 2026, and ends October 15, 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and who are eligible for R1CU membership under R1CU’s field of membership or are current Resource One members in good standing. Exclusions include R1CU employees, volunteers, officials, directors, board members, supervisory committee members, and their immediate family members or household members. One entry per drawing period will be accepted.

For purposes of these Official Rules, “immediate family members” include spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, stepsibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law.

No purchase, transaction, account opening, loan application, payment, or membership is necessary to enter or win. A purchase, transaction, account opening, loan application, payment, or membership will not increase the odds of winning.  By submitting an online entry, entrants acknowledge they have read and agree to these Official Rules. Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, participants may visit r1cu.org, locate the featured Anniversary Scavenger Hunt icon and complete the online entry form. Individuals requiring reasonable accommodations to participate may contact R1CU at 214-319-3100.

Limit one (1) entry per person per drawing period.

Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter without participating in the Website Scavenger Hunt, handprint your full name, mailing address, daytime phone number, email address (if applicable), and date of birth on a 3″ x 5″ card and mail it to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked during the applicable drawing period and received prior to 12:00 p.m. Central Time on the applicable drawing date. Limit one (1) entry per person per drawing period regardless of method of entry. Mail-in entries receive the same odds of winning as online entries.

Drawings and Prizes: Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Resource One Credit Union or its designated representative from among all eligible entries received during the applicable drawing period. One (1) winner and one (1) alternate winner will be selected approximately every eight (8) days during the Promotion Period. Twelve (12) total drawings will occur.

* Drawings will occur on or about 2:00 p.m. Central Time at Resource One Credit Union administrative offices. ** Final drawing will be conducted after the Promotion Period closes to allow all eligible entries received through October 15, 2026, to be included.

Each winner will receive:

One (1) $90 Mastercard® Gift Card

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize: $90.00

Total ARV of all prizes awarded: $1,080.00

Mastercard® is not a sponsor of, affiliated with, endorsing, administering, or otherwise associated with this Promotion. Mastercard® Gift Cards are awarded solely by R1CU.

Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the applicable drawing period. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Entries received during one drawing period will not carry forward into subsequent drawing periods.

Winner Notification and Prize Claim: Potential winners will be notified by telephone and/or email using the contact information provided with their entry. Winners must respond within five (5) business days of the initial notification attempt.

If a selected winner:

• Cannot be contacted;
• Fails to respond within five (5) business days;
• Is found ineligible; or
• Fails to comply with these Official Rules,

The alternate winner selected for the drawing may be contacted and awarded the prize. Sponsor is under no obligation to continue attempting to contact an unresponsive potential winner after the notification period expires.

Taxes: Winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes. R1CU will comply with all applicable tax reporting requirements and may require completion of IRS Form W-9 or other documentation if required by law.

Publicity Release: Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for R1CU to use the winner’s name, city, state, likeness, photograph, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Privacy: Information collected will be used to administer the promotion and handled in accordance with Resource One Credit Union’s Privacy Policy. [insert link to privacy document]

Limitation of Liability: R1CU is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, delayed, damaged, or misdirected entries or notifications, nor for technical or electronic failures that may affect participation in the Promotion. R1CU is not responsible for interrupted Internet service, browser incompatibility, website outages, or other technical issues that may prevent participation. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Resource One Credit Union, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from and against any liability, claim, loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.

General Conditions: This Promotion is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be governed by Texas law and, where applicable, resolved in the appropriate state or federal court located in Dallas County, Texas.

R1CU reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper administration of the Promotion including but not limited to natural disaster, pandemic, cyber-attack, government order, system outage and/or other events. All decisions of R1CU regarding the Promotion are final. Automated entries, bots, scripts, duplicate or fraudulent entries are prohibited and void. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who tamper with the promotion or violate these Official Rules. All website content remains the property of Resource One Credit Union. Participation does not grant entrants any ownership or usage rights.
