Resource One Credit Union Merger Completion
A New Direction Credit Union and Resource One Credit Union officially merged in October 2022.
DALLAS, TX (December 9, 2022)
Resource One Credit Union (R1CU) and A New Direction Credit Union (ANDCU) announce that they have received regulatory approval to merge, effective August 1, 2022. More than 2,700 members of ANDCU are joining Resource One Credit Union’s 68,000 members, and ANDCU’s branches and ATMs will be added to the current Resource One Credit Union branch and ATM network.
Resource One Credit Union announces that they have officially merged with A New Direction Credit Union (ANDCU), effective October 31, 2022. The 2,700 members of ANDCU joined Resource One Credit Union’s 68,000 members. Additionally, this unification brought R1CU two new locations in the north Dallas area.

The merger increased Resource One’s assets to over $797 million, and they will have over 70,000 members.

A New Direction Credit Union was initially chartered as Presbyterian Hospital Credit Union in February 1969. The credit union serves primarily the employees and physicians of Texas Health Resources Hospitals and Affiliates, in addition to several other employment groups.
